Scratching that Itch
So i've been in New York for about 3 weeks now and still haven't seen a show. It's killing me. I have yet to go to one of the concert in the park shows because they're not cheap, and I'm afraid if I venture down to the Village to watch some lousy local band, I'll fall desperately in love with everyone I see. Boo. Plus, I missed City Stages. Someone please tell me that The Killers didn't kill, Aretha didn't show, and Ryan Adams looked like ass and was speaking gibberish. Still bet Mr. Hollingsworth put on a kickass show....*sigh*....

Actually, Ryan Adams did look like ass and was speaking gibberish, but you already know that if you've read my blog. I didn't go to The Killers, but Terri and I ran into Robin at Ryan Adams, and she said she wasn't impressed. Rachael Yamagata was pretty good, but maybe a little mellow for your tastes. I didn't see Taylor or Aretha, so I can't comment there...but I don't think you missed much.
hahaha! I did make that comment about Ryan Adams b/c I read your blog, but he does have a tendency to talk like a crazy man....and sometimes look like one too.
